If you want pizza dough balls delivered in the UK, you have roughly eight brands to choose between, selling frozen and chilled dough in packs of eight to twenty-five. They range from £1.50 to £2.29 a ball before delivery, and once shipping is added the cheapest headline price is not always the cheapest pizza. This table lays out pack size, weight per ball, delivery cost, format and the full ingredients declaration for each one, so you can compare what you are actually buying rather than what the marketing says.

Why half this table says "cannot be calculated". Four of eight brands do not publish a standard delivery charge, and three do not publish how many balls are in the box or what each one weighs. That is not an oversight on our part — it is the state of the category. A buyer cannot work out what a pizza costs them without putting a box in the basket and going most of the way to checkout.

What does pizza dough delivery actually cost?
Between £1.50 and £2.29 a ball before delivery, based on the eight UK brands in the table above. Delivery, where it is published, runs from £5.49 to £6.49 and is usually waived above a threshold of £35 to £75. On a single pack with delivery paid, expect £2.50 to £2.75 a pizza.
The catch is that four of the eight do not publish a standard delivery charge at all, so the true cost only appears at checkout.
Is frozen pizza dough as good as chilled?
They are different trade-offs rather than better and worse. Frozen dough keeps for three to eighteen months depending on the brand, so you bake when you want rather than when the dough dictates. Chilled dough arrives ready to prove and skips the defrost, but gives you days rather than months, and it is the format most likely to arrive in poor condition in warm weather.
What matters more than either is how you bring the dough to room temperature. Most complaints about delivered dough tearing come down to a rushed defrost.
How big a pizza does one dough ball make?
The balls in this comparison run from 220g to 270g. A 250g ball opens comfortably to a 12-inch Neapolitan base; 220g gives you a 10 to 11 inch base or a thinner 12; 260 to 270g suits a thicker New York style or a deeper rim.
Weight per ball is the figure to check when comparing prices — two brands at £2.00 a ball are not the same deal if one is 220g and the other 250g.
Which delivered pizza dough is cheapest?
Outi Pizza at £1.50 a ball, then The Northern Dough Co at £1.83 and Dough Dorks at £2.17 — all before delivery. Neither Outi nor Northern Dough publishes a standard delivery charge, so the cheapest dough delivered may well be Woody Oven at £2.50 all-in, or better still any brand where you clear the free-delivery threshold in one order.

All prices, pack sizes, delivery terms and declarations read from the sellers' own websites on 6 September 2026, except The Northern Dough Co's ingredients, taken from the manufacturer's declaration on the Ocado listing because their own product page does not carry one. Cost per ball is pack price ÷ number of balls. Cost per pizza delivered adds the standard UK mainland delivery charge to a single pack, which is the worst case — most brands drop it above a threshold.
