How we make money
Today, nothing on this site earns us a penny. Every listing links out to the page we read the figures from, and not one of those links is affiliate, paid or sponsored. We have no commercial arrangement with any brand on the bench.
That is meant to change — commission on links is how this site is supposed to pay for itself. When a link starts earning, that row carries a paid link label and this page names the brand. The ranking is set before any of it is considered, and brands with no arrangement stay on the same table on the same terms. If you ever see a table where the paying brands happen to be the winners, we have failed and you should tell us.
What we will not do
No gifted samples. No sponsored reviews. No score changed after a brand gets in touch. If a brand corrects a fact we get wrong, we change it and say so at the foot of the page, with the date.
Corrections
Prices, packs and certifications change. Every reading on this site carries the date we took it. If something here is out of date or wrong, tell us and we will re-check it rather than argue about it.
What we are not
We are not a certifying body, a food safety authority or a laboratory. Where we quote a gluten-free claim we are reporting what a seller published, not verifying it. Coeliac readers should confirm current status with the seller.
Sources. Every price, pack size, delivery term and ingredients declaration on this site was read from the seller's own website on 6–7 September 2026, with the single exception noted on the comparison page. Nothing here is estimated, inferred or reproduced from another review site.
Links. Every product name in every table links to the exact page we read it from, so you can check any figure against its source. Five link to a brand’s shop or site rather than to a single product, because that brand does not publish one; those are noted on the row. The links carry a tag that tells the seller the visit came from Crust Bench and tells us which listings readers click. It records nothing about you personally, and none of these links is paid.
